HELLO,

I’m Taísa Ennes — a film editor, director and videomaker based in Porto Alegre, Brazil. For the past 18 years, I’ve worked across the audiovisual field — from open-broadcast TV newsrooms to fiction-driven creative departments — shaping stories through editing, directing and screenwriting. My company, Machina Filmes, has become a trusted name in Southern Brazil, known for high-end technical quality and polished post-production. Recently, I’ve been focusing on fast, social-first formats — agile, dynamic videos designed to captivate instantly and keep audiences watching.

CINEMA
Machina Filmes

I’m the co-founder of Machina Filmes, a production company specialized in high-end post-production, where I develop and direct my work in fantastic cinema. My films are guided by strong social observation and a recurring focus on women’s lived experiences, blending genre aesthetics with intimate human narratives.

Over the years, I’ve collaborated on more than twenty short films, four feature films and five television series, working across directing, screenwriting and editing. Two of these series were featured in the catalogs of Netflix and Globoplay.

Our productions have been officially selected by nearly 80 film festivals worldwide, earning 15 awards. Beyond directing and editing, I also serve as a curator and jury member for film festivals, contributing to the broader cinematic landscape.
